On the sandy beach side of Haikou, the city is rapidly expanding. A master design that spans three kilometers is devised to guarantee a sustainable and durable use of land. Key programs are integrated in order to keep as much vegetation as possible. Accordingly, a pathway coupling East with West connects the respective programs residing on the seafront.
